Business codes of practice
Members will adhere to a Code of Practice which will govern:
- compliance with application of Federal and State laws as advised by advisers appointed by the ISGA;
- best practices in connection with the protection of customer’s personal information and privacy.
Member codes of practice
Each member will warrant the following:
- Games are designed and operated to be fair to all customers;
- Customer terms and conditions will not be misleading or unfair to the customer;
- Rules of each individual game will be as clear as possible;
- Where customers are in dispute with a member, customers can refer to the ISGA for dispute resolution;
- Each member will provide means of monitoring customer game play to identify excessive game-playing where it may cause social or financial harm (‘socially responsible game play’);
- Customer deposits are safe, and associate members maintain sufficient funds at all times to ensure that funds can and will be refunded to customers upon reasonable notice from the customer. Such refunds may incur a reasonable charge where applicable, and where such charge is identified in the relevant terms and conditions.
